Der Kleine Jasmunder Bodden ist fast durchwegs von Wäldern und Hügeln verbunden und sehr einsam. Bei 4 bf. wird es für C-Boote schwierig, Inrigger sind besser. Anlanden ist zumeist schwierig, da der See fast vollständig von Schilfgürteln umgeben ist.
