Es handelt sich um einen idyllisch gelegenen 54 km langen Stausee auf dem jahrelange Rudererfahrung besteht. Auch als Wintertrainingslager geeignet. Es bestehen aber keinerlei rudertechnische Einrichtungen. Bei Ferreira do Zezere bei Tomar ist ein Hotel am Wasser vorhanden, wo Boote gelagert und eingesetzt werden können. Ein Holzeiner liegt dort ständig. Besitzer: der ehem. Präsident des Ruderverbandes Portugals. Der See liegt so geschützt, dass er wenig windanfällig ist. Von Ferreira aus kann man meist schnell an windgeschützte Stellen zum Training kommen. (Kenntnisstand 1990 - wird demnächst aktualisiert).
