Der größte "Fluss"von Sjælland. Die Suså entspringt südlich von Rønnede in Tingerup und mündet nach 89 km in den Karrebæk Fjord, ca. 20 km von der Quelle entfernt. Von 1812 - 1872 war der Fluss unterhalb des Bavelse Sø als Kanal ausgebaut. Für das Rudern sind der Tystrup Sø, Bavelse Sø und die Strecke ab Næstved interessant. Für das Befahren der Suså oberhalb von Næstved benötigt man eine "gæstenummerplæde", die vom der Kongskilde Friluftsgårds Naturafdeling gegen Bezahlung ausgestellt wird (sh. -> Gewässerführer "Tystrup Sø"). Anliegergemeinden haben spezielle Vorschriften. Beschreibung mit allen Bestimmungen siehe "I kano på Susåen", herausgegeben von Storstrøms og Vestsjællands Amter, März 2007. Die Kilometrierung startet mit km 0,0 beim Übergang zur Küste bei Karrebæksminde (Sjælland South West Coast km xxx).
