The
rowing boat offered is a long, wide and flat boat for 8 oar rowers (4 on
bowside, 4 on strokeside). Between bowside and strokeside rowers there is a
walkable corridor. There are there places on the coxswain’s bench .
Advantages:
Even
non-rowers are able to move the boat easily. The boat is not suitable for races
but great for pleasure rowing and common experience in nature.
For
this reason the boat is extraordinarily suitable for business events and
workshops to develop team spirit.
Condition:
The
boat was used regularly and is in a rowable condition. The material is in good
condition, cosmetic repairs are necessary.
The
boat trailer’s test certificate is valid till May, 2018, and will be renewed
before being sold.
Description:
Boat:
DRG
is the second owner of the boat so not all details are known exactly. The boat
is supposed to be about 30 years old, mainly made of multi-layer wood with
meliaceous veneer. The underwater hull
is coated with antifouling paint.

boat’s accessories are complete and consist of:

Boat trailer:
The
trailer was built especially for this boat by the trailer specialist Bodo Kuhn
in Marl. It is made for transporting, storing and side slipping the boat.
Accessories:
2 manually operated hydraulic pumps, 1 manually operated winch, 1 spare wheel.
The
LED back light unit is detachable and was added subsequently.
Year
of construction: 1993; weight: about 670 kg, gross vehicle weight: 2.000 kg;
test certificate valid till May, 2018.
Attention: The boat is
suitable only for calm water expanses (rivers, lakes)
