Die Nebel ist ein Nebenfluss der Warnow. Die Alte Nebel verläuft parallel zum Bützow-Güstrow-Kanal, ist sehr kurvenreich mit engem Radius. Im Sommer ist die Alte Nebel im Oberlauf stark verkrautet. Das Berudern ist deshalb nur von Bützow aus ratsam.
Die Brücke des Radfernweges Berin-Kopenhagen verbindet die Orte Wolken/Bützow und Zepelin für Radfahrer, Landwirte und Forst. In den Jahren 2013 und 2014 erfolgte der Ersatz-Neubau der Brücke. Sie wurde am 06.11.2014 wiedereröfnet. Die Brücke verläuft im Zuge eines ehemaligen Eisenbahndammes (Bahnbetrieb von 1850 bis 1882) von Bützow nach Güstrow. Der Ersatzneubau erfolgte mit teilweisem Erhalt historischer Bausubstanz.
