Sehr offener Fjord, wenig Windschutz und im zwischen Lakselv und Trollholmsundet teilweise auch recht flach. Nur mit absolut seegängigen Boote rudern, am besten mit Seegigs.
Immer im Auge behalten in welcher Bucht man notfalls schnellstens anlegen kann.
Hinter Repvag rudert man praktisch auf dem offenen Eismeer. Die Überquerung nach Honningsvag nur bei ruhigem und stabilem Wetter wagen. Erfahrene Mannschaften und Obleute sind
bei solchen Wasserbedingungen absolut überlebensnotwendig. Die beschriebene Strecke hinter Honningsvag ist noch nie gerudert worden. Uns fehlte damals wegen mehrfach
abgebrochener Tagesetappen die Zeit zum weiterfahren.
