Auf der Ostseite der Mündung des Pearl Rivers. Besteht aus einer Halbinsel (Kowloon und New Territories) und 262 Inseln. Die grössten Inseln sind: Lantau (146,2 km2), Hong Kong Island (88,3 km2) und Lamma (13,6 km2). Der Hong Kong China Rowing Association sind 31 Rudervereine/ Abteilungen angeschlossen, die sich auf drei Ruderzentren verteilen: - Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club (RHKYC) am Nordufer von Hongkong Island mit seinem Bootshaus auf Middle Island in Süden der Insel - zwei Wassersportzentren am Shing Moon River Channel im Osten der New Territories Ausserdem hat der RHKYC noch eine Marina in Sai Kung im Osten der New Territories
